Part (2)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">There are three types of hearts:<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0 1- The Believer\u2019s heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0 2- The Disbeliever\u2019s heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0 3- The Hypocrite\u2019s heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">There are two elements to discuss in this regard:<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">A- The pure heart through the impure heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">B- Relation between the heart\u2019s purity and faith<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The level of people\u2019s beliefs differ from one another and also their hearts vary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>Allah (SWT) said:<\/strong> \u201cThen We gave the Book (the Qur&#8217;\u00e2n) for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose (the followers of Muhammad PBUH). Then of them are some who wrong their own selves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by All\u00e2h&#8217;s Leave, foremost in good deeds. That (inheritance of the Qur&#8217;\u00e2n) &#8211; that is indeed a great grace.\u201d (Fatir 32)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The pure heart through the impure heart. <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>Allah (SWT) said: <\/strong>\u201cAnd, verily, among those who followed his (Nuh\u2019s) way (Tawhid) was Ibr\u00e2him. When he came to his Lord with a pure heart.\u201d (As-Saffat, 83-84)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The pure heart is the one protected from polytheism, fraud, doubt, hate, envy, and revulsion. The Prophet (PBUH) was asked, \u201cWho are the best people?\u201d He answered, \u201cThose whom have truthful tongues and noble hearts.\u201d The meaning of noble heart is a pure and pious heart that does not carry hate or hard feelings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">This means that, The true faith that Allah (SWT) established in His slaves\u2019 hearts is that which tells the truth, avoids lies, and supports Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>Ibn Ma\u2019sud said:<\/strong> \u201cAllah (SWT) searched His slaves\u2019 hearts and He found the Prophet (PBUH) has the noblest heart. Next, Allah (SWT) found the Prophet\u2019s companions with high levels of nobility.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">In a famous story about Sa\u2019ad Ibn Malik (in the Mosque), <strong>the Prophet (PBUH) said:<\/strong> \u201cA man will enter now and he is already awarded heaven, because he goes to sleep without carrying hate for any other Muslim brother.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0000;\"><strong>B- Relation between the heart\u2019s purity and faith<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The true pure heart is in a position of true faith to Allah (SWT). The scholar said: \u201cThe Islamic faith is the light that penetrates through the heart by order of Allah (SWT) from His love of the Muslims.\u201d<strong> Allah (SWT) said:<\/strong> \u201cThe Bedouins say: \u2018We believe.\u2019 Say: \u2018You believe not but you only say, &#8216;We have surrendered (in Isl\u00e2m)&#8217;.\u201d (Al-Hujurat, 14)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The Bedouins\u2019 faith was by tongue and did not taste the sweetness of faith. Allah (SWT) criticized them that they must say we are Muslims but not\u00a0 believers. The fact is they did not attain a high level of Islamic faith.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>Allah (SWT) said:<\/strong> \u201cIndeed, All\u00e2h was pleased with the believers when they gave their Bai&#8217;\u00e2 (pledge) to you (O Muhammad PBUH) under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down As-Sakina (calmness and tranquility) upon them, and He rewarded them with a near victory\u201d. (Al-Fath, 18)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">When Allah (SWT) examines the companion\u2019s hearts, He found true Islamic faith and dedication to Islam. Allah (SWT) rewarded them with peace, love, victory over their souls, and control over their hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">When Allah (SWT) created the earth, it was in motion. Allah (SWT) formed the mountains, which provided stability to the earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>The Angels wondered<\/strong>, \u201cO Lord, did You create any creation that is stronger than the mountains?\u201d He answered, \u201cYes, the iron.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The Angels wondered, \u201cO Lord, did You create any creation that is stronger than the iron?\u201d He answered, \u201cYes, the fire.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The Angels wondered, \u201cO Lord, did You create any creation that is stronger than the fire?\u201d He answered, \u201cYes, the water.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The Angels wondered, \u201cO Lord, did You create any creation that is stronger than the water?\u201d He answered, \u201cYes, the wind.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">The Angels wondered, \u201cO Lord, did You create any creation that is stronger than the wind?\u201d He answered, \u201cYes, the heart of Adam\u2019s child. If he donates Sadaqah without announcing, in such a way that his left hand does not know about the spending of his right hand &#8220;(At Targheeb wa at Tarheeb, 2\/68).<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">A good example of a strong, true faith that bears hard times was the magicians of Fira\u2019un. one morning, they were evil pagans, enjoying money and a high prestige. When they discovered the reality of Allah (SWT), they converted to Islam. They were not afraid of Fira\u2019un\u2019s oppression and his threat of punishment. On that evening, these magicians became faithful martyrs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Allah (SWT) said about the magicians<\/strong>: &#8220;We prefer you not over the clear signs that have come to us, and to Him (All\u00e2h) Who created us. So decree whatever you desire to decree, for you can only decree (regarding) this life of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">\u2018&#8221;Verily! We have believed in our Lord, that He may forgive us our faults, and the magic to which you did compel us. And All\u00e2h is better as regards rewards in comparison to your [Fira\u2019un&#8217;s (Pharaoh)] reward, and more lasting (as regards of punishment in comparison to your punishment\u201d). (Taha, 72-73)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">On a final note, I encourage you to protect your hearts and make sure that Allah (SWT) resides in it. Please understand that the heart must have residence within, either the Merciful or the devil.
